Sasha Davis – M&K Founder, Coach

Born and raised in the heat of the Sonoran Desert of Arizona, I traded those hundred-degree days for the thinner air and higher elevations in Colorado. I currently live outside Denver with my husband and our children. (And the dogs, mustn’t forget the dogs, or the cat for that matter.)

I’m an avid reader and occasional essayist with an interest in a wide variety of crafting hobbies, including sewing and cross stitching. I find knitting to be particularly meditative and regularly turn to needles and yarn when I’m ready to decompress.

Beyond my hobbies is my commitment to social progress, particularly with regard to dismantling institutional racism, protecting LGBTQ+ youth, and addressing gender bias in everyday life.

Diagnosed with Type II Bipolar Disorder as a teenager, I spent twenty-plus years working to understand and manage my illness through education, psychiatry, and psychotherapy. I found stability in my thirties with the help of a solid team of mental health professionals and appropriate medication. Raising three children with a variety of neurodivergent and medical needs necessitated further education and provided experiences I never could have learned from a textbook.

Currently, I am pursuing certification as a professional coach because it is important that my clients know how seriously I take our work. I want the people I serve to know I’ve made a commitment to push myself to grow instead of stagnate. I have chosen to hold myself accountable to the coaching industry standards, the code of ethics, and the best practices.

My personal experiences with grief, trauma, mental illness, and growing up queer have informed my practice, but there is always more to learn, new paths to explore. I want my clients to be assured that I am doing my very best for them in all ways.

I look forward to meeting you, and finding the intersections in your life we can explore together.
